Bifacial PV modules use double glass or class with transparent back options. Bifacial Mono-PERC or TOPCon cell PV modules have PV cells that absorb light from both the front and the back side of the PV module. That means that besides capturing sunlight from the front of the PV module, they also capture all the valuable sunlight that is reflected from the ground, as well as any diffused light that hits the back of the solar cells. This increases the energy production of the PV module.
Boviet Solar produces two types of Bifacial PV module. Clients have options to choose double-glass or transparent back option depending on their solar projects.
Double Glass Solar Module is an innovative product that uses solar cells layer laminated between two 2.0 mm tempered glasses, use the tempered glass instead of the traditional polymer back-sheet.
Transparent photovoltaics (TPVs), which combine visible transparency and solar energy conversion, are being developed for applications in which conventional opaque solar cells are unlikely to be feasible, such as windows of buildings or vehicles. In the back of the PV module, transparent backsheet is used rather than glass or opaque backsheet.
