Monocrystalline BifacialPV modules capture and produce solar electricity from the front and rear side of the modules. They are available in double glass or glass with transparent backsheet. Bifacial PV module with PERC (passivated emitter and rear cell) cell technology uses dielectric passivation film on the rear surface of the cells. With PERC cells, the front surface absorbs sunlight while the rear surface absorbs the scattered or reflected light. This results in higher generation than their counterparts due to higher light absorption and internal reflectivity.
