SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

African Mother And Child

Boviet Solar’s social responsibility efforts center on employees, because of their critical role in our mission to make the earth a better place for all living beings utilizing the power of the sun. We see equity, diversity, and inclusion as critical to our long-term success, so we go beyond what is required by employment laws and regulations. Our efforts address gender equity, fair pay, and accountability for team leaders, and we conduct regular training to address unconscious bias in our global operations. Our robust human resources program includes employee and leadership training and development, and succession planning. We have cooperative agreements with five universities to develop talent, and we conduct employee surveys every two years. In the area of safety, our factories have been certified under ISO 45001 since 2018, and our rigorous policies and procedures help us maintain a low rate of safety-related incidents.

ENVIROMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

Boviet Solar contributes to the world’s transition to clean energy every time the company’s PV cells and modules are used in a solar project. In addition, the company strives to continuously reduce the environmental footprint of its manufacturing on a per-watt basis through technology and process improvements. These improvements have enabled significant, measurable progress in metrics, including greenhouse gas emissions, energy use, and water intensity. Boviet Solar’s module wattage more than doubled between 2013 and 2023, enabling solar projects to deliver more clean energy from a smaller footprint using less material. The company complies with all environmental laws and regulations, and abides by the ISO 14001 environmental and ISO 45001 occupational health and safety management systems, which address waste reduction, energy conservation, injury reduction, and more.
