Boviet Solar USA’s Parent Company, Powerway Group, Acquires Berkenhoff GmbH

San Jose, CA., November 9, 2015 – Boviet Solar USA, a solely owned subsidiary of Powerway Group Co. and manufacturer with the largest, state-of-the-art solar cell and manufacturing facilities in Vietnam, announced today that its parent company, Powerway Group Co. has acquired Berkenhoff GmbH. Berkenhoff GmbH, a 125-year-old company, was recognized for their innovative, high-tech precision wire manufacturing.

The company generated over $100 million in sales last year. By acquiring Berkenhoff, the Powerway Group continues to solidify their product offering and expand their global presence. Powerway Group is a diversified conglomerate with 6 industrial divisions doing business with some of the world’s leading Fortune 500 companies. The group employs some 4,600 staff and posted global sales of almost $1 Billion in the last financial year.
