BOVIET SOLAR PROVIDES OVERVIEW OF U.S. MANUFACTURING ACTIVITIES, REAFFIRMING LONG-TERM COMMITMENT TO THE AMERICAN SOLAR MARKET

SAN JOSÉ, California — January 08, 2026 — Boviet Solar (“Boviet Solar” or the “Company”), a leading solar energy technology company specializing in high-efficiency monocrystalline PV cells and Gamma Series™ Monofacial and Vega Series™ Bifacial PV modules, today provided an overview of its U.S. manufacturing activities, outlining the scope, scale, and strategic intent behind its domestic PV module and PV cell production and reaffirming its long-term commitment to the United States solar market.

Boviet Solar’s U.S. manufacturing operations are centered in Greenville, North Carolina, where the company is building a fully integrated solar manufacturing platform designed to support the rapid growth of utility-scale, commercial, community-solar, and residential projects nationwide. Through significant capital investment, workforce development, and capacity expansion, Boviet Solar is establishing durable domestic manufacturing capability to serve customers with stability, scale, and confidence.

PHASE I: U.S. PV MODULE MANUFACTURING FACILITY

Boviet Solar’s Phase I U.S. PV module manufacturing facility officially opened on April 24, 2025, in Greenville, North Carolina. The Company invested approximately $294 million in the Phase I facility, which spans 521,468 square feet and is fully operational.

The facility has an annual nameplate capacity of 3 GW of PV modules and manufactures Boviet Solar’s Gamma Series™ Mono-Monofacial and Vega Series™ Mono-Bifacial PV modules for utility-scale, community-solar, commercial, industrial, and residential projects across the United States.

Phase I has already created more than 300 skilled manufacturing, engineering, and operations jobs, supporting workforce development and long-term economic growth in eastern North Carolina while providing customers with reliable, domestically manufactured solar products.

PHASE II: U.S. PV CELL MANUFACTURING FACILITY

Building on the successful commissioning of Phase I, Boviet Solar began construction of its state-of-the-art Phase II PV cell manufacturing facility in January 2025 as part of its long-term U.S. manufacturing strategy. Phase II represents an additional capital investment of approximately $100 million and will span approximately 600,000 square feet once completed.

The Phase II facility will have an annual production capacity of 3 GW of solar cells and will manufacture advanced P-Type and N-Type PV cells, significantly strengthening domestic solar cell manufacturing capacity in the United States and enhancing vertical integration across Boviet Solar’s U.S. operations.

The PV cell facility is expected to be completed in the second half of 2026 and will create more than 900 additional jobs, further expanding Boviet Solar’s contribution to U.S. manufacturing, employment, and clean-energy industrial growth.

“Our U.S. manufacturing activities reflect a deliberate, long-term commitment to the American solar market,” said Songul Atacan, Head of Global Brand & Marketing at Boviet Solar. “We are investing in real capacity, real jobs, and real infrastructure because we believe in the future of U.S. solar manufacturing and in supporting our customers with dependable, domestic supply.”
