BOVIET SOLAR CELEBRATES SOLAR BUILDER PROJECT OF THE YEAR AWARD NOMINATION FOR INDUSTRIAL ROOFTOP SOLAR PROJECT

Installed on the roof of Ravago Manufacturing Americas’ facility in Manchester, Tennessee, the 2.4 MW solar system was designed to reduce energy costs for one of the region’s largest plastic and rubber manufacturing operations. The project presented significant technical challenges due to the facility’s roof structure and extensive electrical requirements.
The system includes six points of interconnection (POIs) and approximately two miles of conduit, making it one of the most complex rooftop solar installations Radiance Solar has delivered. Radiance Solar’s Senior Vice President of Business Development described the project as a “unicorn” due to its complexity and scale. Acting as developer, EPC, and installer, Radiance Solar managed all aspects of the project from design through commissioning, ensuring seamless execution despite the technical demands.
