The Sterling project is part of a 13 MW community solar portfolio developed across multiple locations in Colorado, expanding clean-energy access for residential and commercial subscribers. The Sterling site presented significant topographical variation, requiring a flexible racking and layout strategy to accommodate elevation changes while optimizing row spacing and system performance.
To address these challenges, the project team implemented a racking configuration that adapted to the terrain without compromising energy yield. The 5 MWdc system includes 12,248 solar modules and delivers more than 10 million kilowatt-hours of clean, renewable electricity annually, supporting Colorado’s community solar program and helping reduce energy costs for subscribers.
