BOVIET SOLAR ANNOUNCES PHASE 2 PV CELL MANUFACTURING PLANT CONSTRUCTION FOR GREENVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA
San Jose, California, USA – November 15, 2024 – Boviet Solar Technology Co. Ltd. (Boviet Solar), a leading innovator in the solar energy sector known for its monocrystalline PV cells and advanced Gamma Series™ Monofacial and Vega Series™ Bifacial PV Modules, is thrilled to announce the groundbreaking of Phase 2 at its Greenville, Pitt County, North Carolina facility. This expansion will focus on the construction of a state-of-the-art photovoltaic (PV) cell manufacturing plant, further strengthening Boviet Solar’s U.S. operations and contribution to the clean energy economy.

- Production Capacity: 2.0 GW of solar modules (Phase 1) and 2.0 GW of solar cells (Phase 2)
Phase 2 will expand Boviet Solar’s manufacturing capabilities by adding a 2.0 GW PV cell production facility, set to begin production by mid-2026. This new facility will incorporate cutting-edge technologies, ensuring high efficiency and supply chain reliability, complementing the company’s existing module production. The expanded capacity will enable Boviet Solar to better meet the growing demand for renewable energy solutions in the United States.
